All that you write about Ben Gurion is true except for the toilet paper being as bad as in the original, good old days. It is actually what was classed as high class paper in the 60′s and 70′s – the bad stuff had no absorbing power at all – if there was any at all in public toilets.
Also, though there is quite a bit of walking in the airport, it is not as bad as a lot of other places – Madrid, Bangkok and Brussels come to mind.
